I have been trying to make this work for over Three years! I STILL haven't figured out what it is supposed to be about. OK, maybe it's because I don't read Chinese, but, really, I thought that the translation would be adequate for explanation. The little men are super adorable, but, I just don't know what to do with the game.

Whenever I’m anxious I go play this game and automatically I just feel….better? Something about the game is just so pure and enjoyable and I just enjoy watching my guys evolve and upgrading. It’s addicting but in a really pure way I guess you could say? I don’t know what it is but I’m so happy whenever I see my ojipockle. I’ve raised three little dudes now and I’m so excited to raise some more :3

I would love more objects, and maybe optimized controls during the games; that would make it even better! If possible changing the skin tone of the ojipockle would be nice. And some way to save progress to game center!!

Play it fools

This is the greatest game and I love my chubby bois so much. My only critiques would be, I can’t seem to move or rotate items once placed in the home, and it would be nice to have more items like little potted plants to make the home look more natural. Floor rugs would be cool too and possibly wall art. I would also like to be able to interact with my Ojipockle more when I tap him, to be able to pick him up and move him or rotate him for photos, and that he can have more interactive items in his home to encourage more play as he will do more interesting things depending on what items and how far you advance in the game :)

Hi I love this game and it’s so fun ,cute and awesome I love it so it’s really fun and it’s weird and I like it I love the elder and mini games it’s so fun it looks awesome and cute when the baby’s sleep and I like taking photos and saving them to my phone and when I do that I can post it on popjam and it gives me so many likes I love other ojipockie games sorry if I spelled that wrong I love the game tag in it it’s hard slash easy and fun I also recommend ojipockie find ojipockie and find ojipockie deluxe this game is something you won’t regret for sure 😀😇😀😇😀😇😀😇

Very fun

Strangely enough, this is a lot of fun. A little limited in scope, but this and the other app by Appliss are super fun and relaxing to play.

Fun app, it's like a tomogachi game with kimokawaii Oji-San. The hide and seek is tricky but I got used to maneuvering after a while. But I think most people would get frustrated and not play. My friend plays ojipockle too and we love to compare which ones we've unlocked. It would be nice if they added more features like visiting friends or more activities. Either way, it's a great app. ( ´∀｀)

Really fun game to pass the time :) the babies are so cute I love that you get money through playing mini games instead of having to buy some with real money . Only problem is the camera controls while playing the hide and seek game are a little tricky !! Besides that I LOVE IT!

Fireplace lights up again and the Christmas tree is blinky and beautiful. All the items that disappeared are back! Took a little while to figure out that the former "notes" section can be accessed by touching the upper left corner food/sleep status. Don't yet understand about the 'bubbles' (clicking the sleep spit bubbles isn't it) but they will probably become apparent soon. This update was greatly needed so I can deal with the aspects I am less excited about for the great corrections that come with it. Thanks.

I love this game I care for my ojipockle everyday. Love taking care of him, decorating his box and playing hide and seek. All in all a great game for relaxation!

I used to own a Tomagochi, that little pendant-like electronic game that has an egg you have to nurture on your free time. It was cute. This one's cute, too. I hope I don' t get short-changed liked Finding Ojipockles. I maxed all the levels but my library of ojipockles wasn't completed. Why didn't the others show up? I was 75% complete!

This app is such a cute concept. My concern/issue is that outside of some beginner narrative guidance we are left without game play information-at least information written in English. I have one Ojipockle.... I feed him. I "rub" (???) him and hearts spring forth from him, but that's about it. I tried to play the game to find coins and I could only tap on one coin. The only other coin I saw wouldn't pick up. So I don't really know how to earn coins to buy things... Any help?

Game is still glitchy in that it crashes a fair bit & sometimes an old ojipockle will appear while taking care of a newer one. For me, this is remedied by switching back to the older one for a bit. These issues haven't stopped my obsessive playing, so they aren't too intrusive to the game. Very cute, looks nice, controls are kinda funky, but once you get them they're pretty simple... Overall, I love this cute, little, middle-aged man-raising, home-building sim. I wish they would localize the DS game to other countries!

And amazing!!!! This take tamagochi in a whole new level. I never though in my life I would taking care of a virtual tiny old man.

I was playing it for 1 minute and I've already found a problem. The controls seem to be worse than their other game, and they spelled things wrong. (in English) I don't know if they're trying to English-ize it, but I found that mistake. Game is cute overall, and the graphics are excellent!

I would love to give 5 stars since it's such a cute game but I can't play the game as intended on iPad mini first generation latest iOS because it crashes when I try to play with the baby, or find coins in the apartment. All I can do really is basic care, and that becomes boring after awhile.

I completely raises the first ojipockle and the elder game to tell me he would be going away and I'll be getting a baby to raise. I selected the new ojipockle but now the first one is still in the box with the baby? I can't feed or do anything with him it seems like a glitch. What to do?

2/19/2016 update: great app and now in English as promised! Thanks so much. Original review: App doesn't support English yet as description advertises, but the game is a lot of fun and if you enjoyed the developer's other game, Finding Ojipockle, this is a much richer experience worth your time. A virtual pet in the form of a little fairy that lives in a cardboard box on a table - starts as a baby and grows to be a salaryman type dude - and you upgrade and decorate his room by playing mini-games and searching the virtual apartment that the table is in for play currency. Weird, bright, cute. It's a shame so many reviewers are holding their review hostage to an English translation, because I'm happy the developers have released this in the US App Store *at all*. Most quirky Japanese games with depth deeper than Neko Atsume (ねこあつめ) tend never to see the light of day here. The fact that the developers have translated their other app (Finding Ojipockle) into English bodes well for this one, but as it's a much more complex game, hopefully they think it's worth their time to translate this one too. A crude and time consuming workaround for now is to take screenshots and use Google Translate's app when it feels needed. A hassle, I know, but it's totally possible to play this without knowing Japanese. I'd recommend playing Finding Ojipockle first just to get a feel for the world and play style (camera, movement control). If you dig that, you'll dig this even more. Fingers crossed for an English translation as the game is a lot of fun and deserving of a larger audience!
